Performance Menu

In 'performance mode' when viewing a performance title, a user can select the <right arrow> to show the performance menu.

 

 

Navigating to next song in sequence

Navigates to the next performance Item. If the performance title is on more then one page, StageDirector will pagedown until the end of the song is reached. Once the end has reached a <right arrow> click will navigate to the next performance item.  Once the end of the playlist has been reached, next (or the right arrow) will navigate to the first performance title.

 

Navigating to previous song in sequence

Navigates to a previous performance item.  If the first item has been reached navigating previous will navigate to the last song in the playlist.

 

Play backing track

If an mp3 file is attached to a performance item the MP3 file will commence playing via output from the audio port of the machine upon which StageDirector is loaded.  This feature can be used to play backing tracks during live performance.

 

 

Enlarging the font

Enlarge current document.  Fonts can be +ve and –ve in size.  This button may in some situations make the font smaller in such cases use the 'Smaller Font' button to enlarge the font.

 

Reducing the font size

Make the document smaller font Fonts can be +ve and –ve in size.  This button may in some situations make the font larger in such cases use the 'Larger Font' button to enlarge the font.

 

Transposing up (temporary)

If the current song contains chord lines this feature will transpose the key of the song by a selecting the number of increments.

 

Transposing Down (temporary)

If the current song contains chord lines this feature will transpose the key of the song by a selecting the number of increments.

 

Maximise

Toggles the exposure of the control panel. The control panel allows for manual play and rehearsing of partial parts of performance pieces which have associated mp3 files.
