The In Control program is a separate software application, which can be installed during the StageDirector setup process. This Application controls the desktop icons, show Taskbar and System keys. If your StageDirector PC is configured to fire up InControl.exe it will disable and make invisible the Desktop Icons, Taskbar and System Keys.
This is particularly useful for dedicated StageDirector devices. It ensures that noone can inadvertently install other software that use up PC resources. A dedicated StageDirector PC installation will install InControl and ensure that StageDirector is started when the machine is turned on. Off course you can enable or make visible The Desktop Icons, The Taskbar and the System Keys. By Clicking on the check boxes as shown below.
